For the second year in a row - Our family will be participating in the March for Babies walk in our hometown of Channahon. We won't be exactly walking (because I don't think my pregnant behind will make it the full six miles) but we are still going to fundraise as much as possible before the walk. This year, I think the walk takes on an even greater importance. Recently a two friends of mine who are pregnant have been faced with some life-altering news about their babies. The March of Dimes secures grant money to research these and all other types of severe, pregnancy-related disorders. We do not only walk in honor of our child, Sadie - but we walk for EVERY single baby in the world. One day, and I truly believe this with all my heart - all babies WILL be born healthy. So if you can, just donate $5 to help our cause. If everyone gave a little, we could make a big difference. Donate securely and safely via our March for Babies page at http://www.marchforbabies.org/mktarrant

Mall people
What is up with people who just let their kids (and I'm not talking 10, 11, 12 years old) run all over the mall unattended assuming everyone else will watch their rugrats for them?
We were at the mall yesterday and it was like that scene in Mean Girls, where Lindsey Lohan compares teenagers to the wild animals in Africa - pretty much like the kids running all over, doing whatever they want. I wanted to ground them all, then give them a swift kick in the ass.
And a lot of those people, sure as hell looked like they couldn't even afford to buy anything from any store IN the mall. It was worse than Walmart. Seriously. Much worse.

Zantac - my new friend
Ever since I had this stomach virus, I have had the worse heartburn/acid reflux ever in my life. Thank you drug companies for Zantac. It works so good. Ahhh.

Valentine's Day
So I'm finally feeling better today from this horrible stomach virus, but not nearly good enough to drag myself out of bed or even think about our original plans to do our "traditional" Enricos dinner with each other and Mammers. Instead, my hunny gave me the best gift of all...
He cleaned the whole house, straightened up, vacuumed, took care of Sadie all day, grocery shopping and did the laundry.
He even made me heart-shaped toast with red gatorade. That's love.

Things on the mind
- Sadie can "sing" her ABC's all the way up to F. And then sporadically says the rest of the letters only skipping a few
- I feel so fat and gross at the moment
- I drink 3 bottles of water a day. Good for me!
- Is it bad that I get really sad when I see pics of new moms being able to hold their baby right after they're born :( mostly because I'm jealous?
- Wants a Nikon so bad and wants to learn how to use it like a pro
That's all for now.
