March for Babies Walk tomorrow!!!
We are humbled, amazed and so thankful for contributions toward the March of Dimes from our friends and family. Together, we raised over $500 for the walk tomorrow!
I'm hoping to make a video or dvd of the walk and I'll post it sometime soon. God bless and thank you everyone for your support!

A pile of things
A lot in my life has been really wierd lately - besides the obvious.
I've realized a change in myself, and it's a change that came with all the ups and downs of the past year. I don't know if it's good or not - but I think it's here to stay.
A few other things have been going on that make me sad.
And today, I had to pee in a cup because our toilet was broke. Go life.

Looking for TV suggestions for Sadie
I'm very open to any video series or TV shows that are educational for kids.
I held off the "No TV" rule for a year which was my plan from the get-go...but she's getting older now and more curious. I think an hour of TV a day would be fine as long as it was something educational to watch.
And I don't mean Barney or Blues Clues.

Sick baby again
Man those doctors were right about Sadie being more likely to get sick than most babies. Not talking colds, but infection.
She's sick again with a throat infection and I am willing to bet another ear infection.
Our pediatrician doesn't take our "All Kids" insurance, but offers exams at a discounted rate. It's still cheaper than if we had her covered under our Cobra. Ugh it's all so confusing.
I just wish she could catch a break for once.

There's never any TIME
Don't have the massive amount of time on my hands that I used to for writing blogs. I've just been so busy with Sadie and with having Erik around. We tend to do more things as a family and let the vacuuming, dusting and scrubbing sit a lot longer than we used to.
Erik's still out of work with no prospects for interviews in the near future. To say we're getting worried about the future is an understatement. I'm terrified. I don't know how much longer we can pull this off. Our money is leaving our bank account quicker than the bills come in. And it truly is amazing to see how much more your bills cost per month once you don't have a job. Our insurance alone costs $700. And that's just for Erik and me. Poor Sadie is on this crap state insurance. But I guess I should be grateful.
I'm looking forward to Easter though. And doing what we want to do as a family. It's nice to have a holiday to ourselves. For once.

Second Interview
Erik didn't get the job.
Almost 5 months and counting now. Don't know how much longer we can survive off our tax return. UGH!
