For the second year in a row - Our family will be participating in the March for Babies walk in our hometown of Channahon. We won't be exactly walking (because I don't think my pregnant behind will make it the full six miles) but we are still going to fundraise as much as possible before the walk. This year, I think the walk takes on an even greater importance. Recently a two friends of mine who are pregnant have been faced with some life-altering news about their babies. The March of Dimes secures grant money to research these and all other types of severe, pregnancy-related disorders. We do not only walk in honor of our child, Sadie - but we walk for EVERY single baby in the world. One day, and I truly believe this with all my heart - all babies WILL be born healthy.
