Donating milk?

I'm really considering it since my milk came in and I'll be off antibiotics in just a few more days. Is it even possible to do this for another baby or mother? Is it too late to start pumping? Or am I just insane?

Michelle-

It is actually not to late to donate your milk and it is not crazy. There is such a short supply of people willing to do this. I have a few places that work with mothers that donate breast milk. Here is what I have:http://www.clarian.org/portal/IMMilkBank/immhowtodonate?clarianContentID=/milkbank/donate.xml
this is a website that helped me when i did it in 2005 also, you could try some of these but i am not sure how they work:Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin

I hope that these will help you. Also, you could contact Comer Children's Hospital and see where they direct you.

I wish you the best of luck and Sawyer would be so proud of you! ♥♥♥
